MACMOT Art Academy is an Edmonton-based art school focusing on visual art education for youth. With classes for young artists from grade 1 up to grade 9, MACMOT believes in strengthening the understanding and execution of fundamental principles for visual art.
With a curriculum designed by award-winning local artist Ashley Thimot, MACMOT strives to offer engaging and educational lessons that stick with the students so that they may practise their skills on their own time. This is a fun learning environment without grades or homework assignments, just exercises meant to help develop artistic knowledge and skillset.

At MACMOT Art Academy, we teach students fundamental concepts regarding visual art, thus giving them the building blocks to visually represent something. Providing this knowledge to these young artists allows for more intentional self-expression.
